Despite their traumatic upbringing, they are now among the most capable combatants and military minds in the world and are extremely intelligent in the art of warfare and strategy. After living in this free society for half a year, they have chosen to enlist in the military of their new country after their new nation gets dragged into a war with a tyrannical superpower that outmatch the military strength of their new nation. Should the children enlist, they would still have to go to military school all over again until they come of age (since they are all minors).
